AlwaysFree: ADNOC Signs LNG Supply Deals With Total, Vitol

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., through its joint venture ADNOC LNG, signed an LNG supply contract with Total for 0.75 million tons/year for two years starting in 2021. ADNOC LNG also inked an agreement to supply Vitol with 1.8 million tons/year of LNG for six years starting in 2023. Japanese buyers accounted for 90% of ADNOC LNG’s volumes in 2019. However, the company has been diversifying customers. ADNOC LNG produces all of its LNG from its facilities on Das Island in the UAE. ADNOC owns 70% of ANDOC LNG. Other shareholders are Total (5%), BP (10%), and Mitsui & Co (15%).
