Al Hejailan Group and Dow cooperate to design, build, and operate a polyacrylic acid (PAA) and emulsion polymers plant in Saudi Arabia to meet the growing demand for coatings and water treatment applications in Saudi and the broader Middle East region.
The plant is planned to have a capacity of 40,000 tpa. It would be located in Plaschem Park and Al Hejailan will operate it. The construction is scheduled to start in 2021 and the production is set to begin in 2023.
Al-Hejailan will hold a 75% stake in the joint venture (JV), and Dow will have 25% ownership.
