Austrian packaging solutions and recycling company Alpla Group acquired German PET recycler BTB PET-Recycling.
The sum of the transaction was not disclosed.
BTB PET-Recycling was based in Bad Salzuflen and employed 35 workers. It had a processing capacity of 20,000 tpa of PET bottles into recycled material, which will be again used for the production of new beverage bottles.
