On Monday, Saudi Aramco said that the operations and supply chains were uninterrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, the company said, “Our inbuilt systems for managing global crises ensure all our sites remain operational. Our supply chains also remain uninterrupted. In our response to coronavirus, we have implemented measures to reduce the risk of infection and to mitigate the virus’s impact on our people and our business.”
On a related matter, on Monday, Saudi Arabia started isolating an industrial area in Dammam, in the oil-producing Eastern Province. The city is where Aramco’s headquarters is based.
