On Wednesday, Saudi Arabian state-owned Saudi Aramco said that it had not made any offers to extend payment terms on the sales of crude oil to refiners.
Aramco’s statement rebutting Reuters’ earlier report, which stated that the company offered Asian and European oil refiners the option to out off crude cargo payments by up to 90 days, as plants struggle with plunging demand.
The report was quoting several refining industry sources.
