AlwaysFree: BASF Expects €4-5 Billion Sales From Zhanjiang Chemical Complex By 2030

BASF is currently building a massive chemical complex in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, China, with an investment of up to €10 billion ($11.7 billion). The German chemical giant expects the Zhanjiang Verbund site to generate sales of around  €4 billion-5 billion ($4.7 billion-5.8 billion) by 2030. It also predicts that the facility will post an EBITDA of €1 billion-1.2 billion ($1.2 billion-1.4 billion) by the end of the decade. The Zhanjiang complex will be BASF’s third-largest facility after its Ludwigshafen headquarters in Germany and its Antwerp complex in Belgium.
