On Friday, Belarusian state energy Belneftekhim said that the country has resumed the transit of Russian oil to Poland which was temporarily suspended that same day due to technical problems.
According to Polish pipeline operator PERN, oil transfer was hampered on the back of local problems with power supplies. However, deliveries to PKN Orlen’s Plock refinery in central Poland persisted. The company also said that the system has gone back into full operations.
Russia transfers oil via the Druzhba pipeline to Europe, which also goes through Belarus.
