BP and China’s independent utility Foran Energy has signed a deal to supply 300,000 tpa of pipeline gas from the 6.7 mtpa Dapeng LNG receiving terminal throughout two years starting on January 1, 2021.
Under the agreement, BP will supply pipeline gas in Guangdong Province, China, from Dapeng with Foran's supplies being distributed to its customers in the city of Foshan, Guangdong.
The deal, BP is able to integrate its upstream gas resources, transportation, and trading into China's downstream markets.
