The world’s biggest biopolymers producer Braskem and Thailand’s SCG Chemicals are assessing cooperation in a new bioethanol dehydration plant in Thailand to produce bio ethylene and I'm green bio polyethylene (PE).
The combination will combine Braskem's technology and biopolymers know-how with SCG Chemicals' knowledge of the Asian market and expertise in PE production.
Upon successful feasibility studies, the partners will establish a production facility in Map Ta Phut, Rayong, Thailand.
