The US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) stated that through Sunday, 91% of offshore crude oil output in the US Gulf of Mexico remained shut after Hurricane Delta which made landfall on Friday.
The hurricane also closed 62.2% of the region’s natural gas output.
A total of 8.8 million bpd of crude oil output and 8..3 bcfd of natural gas production from the region were shut.
