According to the Central Bank of Russia press release on February 20, 2023, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Ruslan Vesterovskiy has decided to pursue his career outside the Bank of Russia and will step down on 28 February 2023.
‘Ruslan Vesterovskiy was responsible for major internal reforms in the Bank of Russia, from creating a transparent system of compensation of employees to implementing the values and principles of the corporate culture. Ruslan founded the Bank of Russia University, which provides training to our staff and market participants. He also made the procurement system more open and efficient. I would like to thank Ruslan for his work and wish him every success at his new job’, said Elvira Nabiullina, Bank of Russia Governor.
