On Thursday, China’s Commerce Ministry said that the country’s imports of some products were affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Shipments of commodities such as electric machinery, transport equipment, along with energy and chemical products were dampened.
Ministry officials also said that Beijing would push local governments to take measures supporting the sales of new energy vehicles and cars.
The country will also expand imports, the energy and agriculture sectors being some of them.
