China’s oil throughput in June rocketed to touch the highest record level as official data showed. The refiners are seen to heighten their production on a healthy level and as demand is seen to recover for diesel and gasoline. The total of crude oil refined last month is 57.87 million tonnes, an equivalent of 14.08 million barrel/day, as shown from China’s National Bureau of Statistics released on Thursday, July 16. The level has increased greatly from 13.63 million barrel/day on average last month and surpassing the previous all time record last December with 13.78 million barrel/day.
China’s national throughput for January-June 2020 totalled at 319.09 million tonnes, or averaging around 12.8 million barrel/day, increased by 0.6% in year-on-year comparison from the same half in 2019.
