According to the company’s website news release on February 24, 2023, thriving to provide a reliable and best quality of service, CMA CGM is pleased to announce a reshuffle of our West Africa services.
While the EURAF 3 service will be ended, our WAZZAN service will deploy a full fleet of 1,700 TEU nom., a dedicated Central Range Feeder will serve Monrovia, San Pedro and Takoradi via Abidjan on a weekly basis, our new weekly North Range Feeder will offer Banjul via Dakar, and our upsized MEDWAX will include Freetown in its rotation.
These updates will offer:
- A better frequency to/from Monrovia, San Pedro, Takoradi, Banjul and further connections with our main loops (EURAF 1, MEDWAX, WAX)
- Benefits from more allocations from/to Monrovia, San Pedro, Takoradi and Banjul
- A direct link from/to Sierra Leone and West Med

MEDWAX will still be offered in 35 days with 5 vessels of 2,500 to 3,500 TEU nom. as follows:
Barcelona – Marseille – Valencia – Algeciras - Tanger – Dakar – Conakry – Freetown - Abidjan – Barcelona
1st departure: m/v "NEW YORKER" voy. 0MY6RS1MA, ETA Tanger on April 1st, ETA Freetown on April 15th, ETA Abidjan on April 18th
Transit times:
Central Range Feeder will be operated in 14 days with 2 vessels of 1,300 TEU nom. as follows:
Abidjan – Monrovia – San Pedro – Takoradi - Abidjan
1st departure: m/v "CMA CGM ATLANTIC WEST", ETA Abidjan on March 20th
