Chevron Phillips Chemical LP and Braven Environmental cooperate for a long-term supply of pyrolysis-derived feedstock.
Braven’s proprietary pyrolysis process is able to efficiently break down mixed, difficult-to-recycle waste plastics into a substance called Braven PyChem which can then be used to create a circular economy for the manufacturing of new plastics.
Braven’s first commercial scale site in North Carolina has transferred Braven PyChem to CPChem. Braven is planning to establish a second location in Virginia, US, which would supply an additional Braven PyChem to CPChem. More sites are planned to be announced in the near term.
