AlwaysFree: EGAS Seeks 87.3% YoY Higher Net Profit In 2023

According to Zawya article published on December 30, 2022, Egypt Gas (EGAS) is planning to achieve an 87.3% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after tax during 2023, according to a budget estimate sent to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on December 29th.

The company seeks to achieve a net profit after tax of EGP 309 million in 2023, compared to EGP 165 million in 2022.

The company expects to report an operating revenue of EGP 8.628 billion in the new year, up from EGP 6.817 billion in the ending year.

It is worth noting that EGAS’ net profit after tax soared to EGP 152.492 million in the January-September period from EGP 42.139 million in the same period a year earlier.
