According to the company’s website press release on January 24, 2023, Enagás GTS has launched the platform for the registration of account holders and the registration of production devices of the system of guarantees of origin for renewable gases, applicable to biogas, biomethane and renewable hydrogen.
As such, the Technical Manager of the System meets the first milestone of this project, as set out in the Government’s Plan +SE (Plan Más Seguridad Energética - More Energy Security Plan), presented in October 2022.
The Technical Manager of the System has set up the website (www.gdogas.es) through which any interested company can apply for registration in the system and register renewable gas production devices.
You can also consult detailed information on the location, typology, capacity and commissioning date of gas production devices from renewable sources, as required by Royal Decree 376/2022 of 17 May. This regulation designates, on a transitional basis, Enagás GTS as the entity responsible for the development and management of this new system of guarantees.
Upcoming milestones
In March 2023, in line with the objective set for this project in the +SE Plan, Enagás GTS will allow the issuance of guarantees of origin for production devices that are registered in the system. The company has also made a mailbox available to the sector (GDO_GTS@enagas.es) for queries or doubts.
