According to TASS, Russia's state-owned news agency article published on November 1, 2022, Energy Ministries of Russia and Turkey are implementing technical activities on establishment of an international gas hub, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Tuesday.
"The work is underway, with demands to become clear according to its results. It will be an international center with international gas pipelines capable of being connected to it. Ministries of both countries are implementing technical activities on this matter. Our Ministry is exploring gas needs in Europe on its part," Cavusoglu told reporters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence on Monday that the gas hub project in Turkey is realistic and can be implemented within the shortest possible timeframe.
