On early Friday morning, Valero Energy Corp.’s 125,000 bpd Meraux, Louisiana, refinery was shaken by an explosion that injured one person.
The fire occurred at around 1 AM local time and the fire was contained to the immediate area around 3 AM.
Valero said that there would likely be no off-site impact.
