Flint Hills Resources will transfer its propylene business to INVISTA.
The transfer will be effective from January 1, 2022, and will include the Flint Hills’ Houston and Longview, Texas, chemical facilities, and support employees.
Flint Hills will also transfer the ownership of the pipelines that supply these facilities. However, Flint Hills will continue the facilities under contract.
For INVISTA, the deal will support its portfolio and its vision of building a leading polymers and advanced materials company.
