On Thursday, Fluor Corp. announced its new position as a project management consultant for Advanced Global Investment Company’s (AGIC) new propane dehydrogenation, polypropylene (PP), and utilities and offsites complex in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
Fluor will provide the project management consultancy services for the front-end engineering design, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases of the project.
Upon completion, the complex will produce 843,000 tpa of propylene and 800,000 tpa of PP. The products would be utilized for the production of specialty polymers for the face masks, automotive, pipes, food packaging, and textile industries.
The contract value was not disclosed.
