According to a Kremlin spokesman, Russian gas giant Gazprom is ready to boost gas sales to Europe amid the surge in prices.
The company is also interested in more gas supply contracts as it has already covered all the additional supply requests.
Year-to-date, the benchmark European gas prices have surged by more than 250%, attributing to higher power prices and hitting industries relying on gas.
