AlwaysFree: Gulf of Mexico Producers Shut Massive Energy Output

On Monday, the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement said that energy producers in the US Gulf of Mexico have to shut massive output ahead of the double tropical storms this week.

Oil output was stopped by 82% or 1.5 million bpd while the output of natural gas was shut by 57% or 1,542 mcfpd.

Companies started the halt of production on Friday in preparation for tropical Storms Marco and Laura.
