AlwaysFree: Hengyi’s New HDPE Plant To Use LyondellBasell’s Technology

LyondellBasell this week announced that Hengyi Industries SDN BHD (Hengyi) would use its proprietary Hostalen Advanced Cascade Process (ACP) technology for a new 450,000 tons/year HDPE plant in Pulau Muara Besar, Brunei Darussalam. With this new contract, LyondellBasell has licensed its multi-modal HDPE process technology to more than 9 million tons/year of manufacturing capacity globally. Hengyi’s new HDPE unit will start up production of a wide range of multi-modal HDPE resins by utilizing Avant Z509 and Avant Z501 catalysts.
