India’s Meghmani Finechem expands its caustic soda plant and upgrades the capacity of its captive power plant.
The expansion of the caustic soda plant will make it produce 400,000 TPA from the current 294,000 TPA. The captive power plant will have a new capacity of 132 MW upon upgrade, from the current 96 MW. Both projects would cost INR230 crore (USD30.9 million).
The expanded caustic soda plant is targeted to be operational by March 2022. It would add the company’s revenue by INR250 crore (USD33.58 million) per year.
