India’s Reliance Industries cut its oil imports in September from August level by 10.% and by 10.8% cut year-on-year to 1.1 million bpd.
Imports of African crude grades went down to 13.3% from about 16% in the previous month, while imports from the Latin Americas dropped by 4% to 16% from the previous month.
On the contrary, the company increased the purchases of Middle Eastern grades by 12% in September, from August’s 48%.
Data also includes some crude packages that arrived in August but discharged in September. It also includes some cargoes that arrived in September and were discharged in October.
