INEOS Styrolution cooperates with South Korean Samsung Resin to produce and market recycled Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) to market in Asia.
The two companies will produce high-quality virgin-like ABS grades with up to 70% recycled content by integrating Samsung Resin's post-consumer recycled electrical and electronic waste into state-of-the-art recycling ABS formulations.
The two recycled ABS grades, Terluran ECO GP-22 MR50 and Terluran ECO GP-22 MR70 contain 50% and 70%, respectively, of recycled post-consumer waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
INEOS has been manufacturing and selling both grades in Europe since 2019 and this collaboration with Samsung Resin will enable it to expand to Asia.
