Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. (IOCL) will close its Paradip refinery in Odisha, Jagatsinghpur district, India for maintenance work. The shut down is planned for 22 days starting from July 25.
Around 800 workers will carry out the maintenance activity at the 15 mtpa of refinery plant while adhering to coronavirus safety protocols.
Jagatsinghpur District Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra said, “Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC will be imposed around the IOCL refinery premises to prevent any congregation in the area.”
