Iran’s Martyr Tondgouyan Petrochemical Plant announced its operating capacity in the eighth month in the current Iranian calendar.
In the period of October 21 to November 20, 2020, Iran’s biggest manufacturer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and pure terephthalic acid (PTA) plant operated at 104% of its nameplate capacity, supplying 107,000 tons of petrochemicals.
The rate was possible following the removal of production bottlenecks in various processes and operations of the facility.
Looking forward, the plant plans production of more than 1 million tons of PET in the calendar year of 1399.
