According to Iran Oil And Gas Network article published on December 14, 2022, Mohammad Mokhber, Iran’s First Vice President said: “Tehran is ready to expand its cooperation with Beijing in various sectors such as energy, transit and joint production,” Iran Oil Ministry News Agency reported.
In the meeting of ‘Iran-China Comprehensive Cooperation Program’, which was held in Tehran and in the the presence of Hu Chunhua, the Vice Prime Minister of China, and the high-ranking Chinese delegation, Mokhber described the relations between the two countries as long-standing and historical, and stated: “Tehran-Beijing relations have a high status for both countries and thepresident is seriously following the relations between them.”
Referring to Iran's oil and gas reserves and the vast capacities of the country in various sectors such as transit, he added: “Tehran is ready to expand its cooperation with Beijing in various sectors such as energy, transit and joint production.”
He stated: “Despite the high volume of commercial and economic exchanges between Tehran and Beijing, the use of the national currency of the two countries in these exchanges is at a minimum level, and we should expand it and use the national currencies as much as possible.”
In related News, reported by IRNA, Ehsan Khandouzi, Iran’s Economy Minister said that Iran and China have prepared 16 MoUs, hoping for implementing them as soon as possible.
