On Monday, Iraq’s Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail confirming the country’s commitment to the oil output cut of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its non-member allies (OPEC+).
Iraq will compensate for the overproduction in May and June in the July-September period, with the supply decrease to hit 100% by early August.
According to OPEC’s secondary sources, Iraq’s compliance level in June had approached 90%.
