AlwaysFree: Jiatong Energy Selects Invista Technology For New PTA Lines

Jiangsu Jiatong Energy Co., Ltd, a Tongkun Group’s subsidiary, has selected Invista’s P8++ Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) technology for its two new PTA lines. The project will be built in Rudong, Nantong City, Jiangsu province, China, with the first line expected to start up by the last quarter of 2022. Invista has been providing Tongkun with its solutions over the previous ten years. Jiaxing Petrochemical, another subsidiary of Tongkun, successfully uses the earlier versions of Invista’s PTA technology. Invista said that the latest iteration of its PTA technology would set a new bar in terms of environmental performance, capital productivity, and variable cost.
