Johnson Matthey (JM) stated that it has won a combined reforming methanol technology contract from JSC Technoleasing for a facility in Russia.
The new Amur Oblast facility is located in Skovorodino, Russia, and has a capacity of 3,000 mtpd.
JM will provide a license including the new Advanced Series Loop technology to gain natural gas efficiency. The contract also comprises of the associated engineering, proprietary equipment, and catalyst supply.
The final investment decision (FID) is still pending.
