Kem One Group’s president Alain de Krassny on Tuesday said he is in exclusive negotiations to sell the company to funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management Inc. The two parties expect to conclude the deal by the end of the year. However, they did not disclose further details on the planned transaction.
Kem One is a leading producer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in Europe. It operates eight industrial sites across France and Spain with around 1,400 employees. Under de Krassny’s leadership, Kem One saw a complete transformation with an ambitious investment program of more than €500 million (590 million) since 2014. De Krassny said Apollo would be able to further accelerate Kem One’s development.
