On Wednesday, the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) said that less than a third of the US Gulf offshore crude oil output remained shut after Hurricane Delta.
As of midday yesterday, the region’s shut crude production was at 31% or 568,505 bpd. Offline natural gas output was at 18% or 486.3 mmcfd.
Previously on Tuesday, shut crude output was at 44% or 805,965 bpd while natural gas production was losing 30% or 809 mmcfd.
Between October 6 and 14, the total oil production being shut was 11.5 million barrels while natural gas was at 10.9 bcf due to the hurricane.
