On Thursday, global industrial gas firm Linde raised again its 2021 earnings predictions for the third time this year. It also announced goals for cutting carbon emissions.
Earnings per share (EPS) is now projected to go up by 28-29% when in the previous forecast it was 23-25%.
In the third quarter of this year, Linde’s adjusted EPS climbed by 27% to USD2.73, higher than the expectations for a USD2.66.
The company has also set new goals which include a 35% cut in absolute emissions by 2035 and becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
