According to the company’s website press release on January 14, 2023, a subsidiary of LOTTE Chemical Titan Holding Berhad (LCT), LOTTE Chemical Titan (M) Sdn Bhd (LCTM) experienced a power dip caused by a technical problem of its auxiliary transformer. The electricity supply to the plants has since been fully restored. No one was injured in the incident and there was no damage to the plants.
LCTM is working to restore the plants’ operations to normal conditions.
Flaring is under control. The company are monitoring the noise reading and air quality to ensure that they are within the safety limits.
