McDermott International, Inc. has been awarded a sizeable technology contract by Advanced Global Investment Company.
The license and basic engineering package of a C3 Catofin unit will be provided by McDermott’s Lummus Technology at its new grassroots petrochemical complex in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The propylene production capacity from the unit will reach 843,000 metric tons per year.
A highly reliable, lower-cost route to propylene, with a lower carbon footprint provided by the Catofin technology that Lummus licenses worldwide.
