Braskem Idesa, the Mexican subsidiary of Brazilian petrochemical maker Braskem, said on Wednesday that it had obtained approval from shareholders and creditors to construct an ethane import terminal. The terminal will be built with Mexico’s state-owned oil company Pemex, along with its logistical unit and other Mexican government entities. Braskem said the terminal would strengthen its commitment to searching for more raw materials for the Mexican plastics industry.
