Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. (MCC) has cooperated with Refinverse in a capital and business alliance as part of its efforts to pursue a circular economy. The two have signed an outsourcing agreement as Refinverse has granted stock to MCC through a third-party allotment to raise capital.
The operator of an industrial waste collection, treatment, and recycling business Refinverse has constructed an integrated system extending from waste treatment to production of resin, supplying a diverse range of recycled resources.
The cooperation would enable MCC to combine its own technologies and knowledge to promote appropriate recycling and effective use of waste with Refinverse’s expertise in industrial waste. MCC would also benefit in understanding final disposal methods for its products and leverage that to design materials that are more environmentally friendly.
