According to sources familiar with plant operations, Motiva Enterprises would completely shut its Port Arthur, Texas, refinery due to the threat from the tropical storms Marco and Laura.
The company has started the closing of the 607,000 bpd refinery on Monday. On Tuesday, all units, except two boilers, would be completely idle.
