Canadian NOVA Chemicals Corp. announced that their BOD appointed their new President and CEO, Luis Sierra, effective August 1, 2020. Todd Karan, NOVA’s previous CEO, had previously announced his retirement.
The company spokesperson said they are delighted to welcome Luis Sierra to NOVA Chemicals as he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a strong and successful career with BP. Luis Sierra joins NOVA Chemicals after a distinguished 30-year career at BP, where most recently he was CEO of BP’s aromatic chemicals business with operations in the United States, Belgium, Indonesia, China and Taiwan.
