The UAE’s energy minister Suhail Al Mazrouei said during the Gastech energy industry event in Dubai that OPEC+ would stick to its current crude oil production plan. Al Mazrouei added that the existing plan is working and there is no reason to not continue with it. OPEC+ plans to gradually increase oil production by 2 million bpd by the end of 2021. OPEC recently revised up its global oil demand projection by 900,000 bpd to 4.2 million bpd in 2022.
