Delegates confirmed that OPEC and its non-member allies (OPEC+) have switched the emergency meeting with other oil producer countries to April 9 from the previously scheduled April 6.
The delay was due to the intensified dispute between Russia and Saudi Arabia, the “leader” of the OPEC+ group regarding the recent crash in oil prices.
There is still no clarity over which countries aside from the OPEC+ will participate in the meeting.
