Pembina Pipeline Corp. reported the proposed Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline in Oregon approved by the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
On the US West Coast, the Jordan Cove LNG export project is the first natural gas export facility to achieve FERC approval.
Pembina has sought various local, state and federal regulatory approvals since acquiring the Jordan Cove project in 2017.
To bring tremendous economic benefits to the State of Oregon and Western Colorado, a significant opportunity represented by the Jordan Cove LNG export project. By replacing coal in Asia, a substantial contribution made by Jordan Cove facility to addressing global climate change.
