On Tuesday, a securities filing showed that Brazil’s state oil company Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) has begun to offer loans to its suppliers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Financial services in the form of working capital credit lines are offered to almost 10,000 suppliers. The loans are estimated to extend up to BRL3 billion (USD551.38 million) with lower interest rates than offered by banks.
