According to a source familiar with the matter, Phillips 66’s Bayway refinery in Linden, New Jersey, was repairing its butane deasphalting unit after Thursday’s shutdown caused by a power outage.
The repair was not going to affect the restart of the other ramping up refining units. The crude unit and cat cracker are among the units shut, said energy intelligence service Genscape.
