According to TASS, Russia's state-owned news agency article published on January 25, 2023, shares of Polymetal, Russia's largest producer of primary silver and second-largest gold producer, added over 2% at the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange following the release of its operational and production results.
As of 10:01 Moscow time, the company's shares added 2.19% and reached 437.4 rubles ($6.35) per share. By 10:05 Moscow time, the company’s shares rose by 0.96% and amounted to 429.5 rubles ($6.23) for paper.
According to the report, Polymetal's production in 2022 increased by 2% to 1.712 mln ounces of gold equivalent. Revenue for 2022 decreased by 3% to $2.8 bln amid lower average prices for gold and silver.
