Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of India’s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), said during the International Climate Summit 2021 that his company had started the development of a green energy complex in Jamnagar with an investment of INR750 billion ($10.27 billion) over the next three years. Ambani added that the world is making efforts to make green hydrogen the most affordable fuel option, and India has the potential to set hydrogen prices at $1 per kilogram within ten years.
