According to TASS, Russia's state-owned news agency article published on October 24, 2022, Russia's imports decreased by around 15-16% in value terms in first nine months of this year, First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov told a press conference on Monday.
"Basic goods of national consumption are being imported quite stably," he said, adding that "in nine months imports fell by 15-16% in terms of value and weight."
"As far as exports are concerned, they are rising in value terms, though weight volumes have dropped," Davydov noted.
